VinFast Philippines has officially joined the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), a significant move to bolster its presence in the local automotive market. If you need a refresher on what CAMPI is, CAMPI plays a vital role in advocating for the industry and driving economic growth. As of May 2025, its members represent over 92 percent of auto sales in the country.
CAMPI is dedicated to building a self-sustaining local automotive industry by working closely with the government and key stakeholders to shape policies, regulations, and standards that drive economic growth. The organization promotes investment, job creation, skills development, technology transfer, environmental protection, and road safety.
As a new CAMPI member, VinFast Philippines will collaborate with other major automotive players to help shape industry policies and standards that encourage innovation and sustainable development.
"We are proud to announce that VinFast is now an official member of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI), the country’s leading automotive industry association. This milestone marks a significant step forward in our commitment to shaping the future of mobility in the Philippines through clean, smart, and sustainable transportation. As a CAMPI member, VinFast will actively collaborate with industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to support innovation, infrastructure, and responsible vehicle manufacturing and distribution across the nation. Joining CAMPI strengthens our mission to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles and contribute to the long-term growth and sustainability of the Philippine automotive sector."

CAMPI President Atty. Rommel Gutierrez welcomed VinFast, saying, "We are honored to extend a warm welcome to VinFast – Vietnam’s pioneering electric vehicle manufacturer – as one of the newest members of CAMPI. VinFast’s entry, as a pure electric mobility brand, marks a significant milestone that is poised to inject renewed momentum into the Philippine automotive industry. By introducing innovative, environmentally sustainable, and accessible transportation solutions, VinFast is expected to play a vital role in advancing the country’s journey toward a greener and more sustainable future."
A year into its entry in the Philippines, VinFast has steadily grown its presence through a lineup of electric vehicles, innovative sales programs, and an improving after-sales support system.
Backed by Vingroup, Vietnam’s leading conglomerate, and driven by the vision of Chairman Pham Nhat Vuong, VinFast is advancing its “For a Green Future” initiative across Southeast Asia. This includes building out charging infrastructure and service networks, a model already proven successful in Vietnam and now being adapted for the Philippine market.
VinFast’s EV portfolio currently includes the VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, and VF 9, offering a diverse range of options for consumers. According to the company, the VF 6 is positioned as a key model to drive EV adoption in the Philippines, following strong performance in Vietnam and positive reception in Europe.
With VinFast now an official member of CAMPI, we can expect to see more exciting developments in the future for the Vietnamese automaker.
