The Hyundai Creta is back with a fresh look and even more to offer. This latest version keeps its spot in Hyundai’s local lineup as the brand’s subcompact crossover, but now with bolder styling, better features, and something a little extra for those who want a bit more punch behind the wheel. It still fits in the same size class but now comes with a design inspired by Hyundai’s “Sensuous Sportiness” language.
Platform, Chassis and Powertrain
Under the hood, the regular Creta variants are powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine that makes 113 hp and 144 Nm of torque. Depending on the variant, you can get it with either a 6-speed manual or Hyundai’s IVT, which gives you a more relaxed, fuel-efficient drive. However, if you’re looking for something with a bit more energy, the N Line variant is the one to watch. It comes with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that makes 158 hp and 253 Nm of torque. This version is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission for quicker gear changes and a sportier feel overall. All variants use a front MacPherson strut suspension and a torsion beam axle at the rear, and they all come with disc brakes, ventilated up front, solid at the back. The N Line gets red brake calipers and rides on larger 18-inch wheels with 215/55 tires, while the rest of the range uses 17-inch wheels paired with 215/60 tires.
Tech-wise, the new Creta is well-equipped across the lineup. Lower variants come with an 8-inch infotainment display that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the higher ones, including the GLS, Premium, and N Line, get a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and built-in Waze. The instrument panel also changes depending on the trim, with a basic 4.2-inch screen for the base model and a 10.25-inch all-digital cluster for the higher ones. All variants include USB charging ports front and rear, while upper trims come with wireless charging that has built-in air cooling to prevent overheating. For those who want more control behind the wheel, the N Line includes both a Drive Mode and a Traction Mode selector, paddle shifters, red ambient lighting, and a unique 3-spoke steering wheel with red accents to match the rest of the interior.
Exterior
The outside of the Creta has been completely updated to match Hyundai’s newer design language. It features a new black chrome Parametric Jewel grille, sharper lines, and an overall more aggressive shape. The headlights differ depending on the variant, halogen reflectors for the base model and multi-faceted LED headlights with automatic on/off for the Premium and N Line trims. You also get LED position lamps, LED center garnishes, and in the higher trims, sequential signal lamps for the front indicators. The N Line stands out even more thanks to its exclusive body kit, dual exhaust tips, and unique rear spoiler. Roof rails and a rear stop lamp spoiler come standard across all variants.
Interior
The standard interior comes in a black and cognac brown two-tone layout, while the N Line switches things up with red accents throughout, including on the leatherette seats, dashboard, and stitching. You get either fabric or leatherette seats depending on the trim, and the N Line gets ventilated front seats for added comfort. Driver and front passenger seats are manually adjustable, 6-way for the driver and 4-way for the passenger, and the rear seats fold 60/40. Cargo space is also generous, offering 433 liters with the seats up and up to 1,401 liters when folded flat.
Safety
All trims come with the basics, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, rear parking sensors, and a rearview camera. But if you go for the higher trims, you’ll get Hyundai SmartSense, which adds advanced driver assist features like Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist, a Blind Spot View Monitor, and even a 360-degree Surround View Monitor in the N Line.

I would recommend Hyundai Creta. A truly value for money car, reliable and good-looking.
My sales agent is very accommodating. I would rate him 10/10. Kudos also to the people in their insurance department. The only thing that disappoints and upsets me alot is the time I waited for my car to be released. It took me 2 days... Ridiculous, isn't it? I signed all the papers today and completed all my requirements. Then, I got the car 7 in the evening. After, they advised me to come back the next day to continue buffing the brand new car. Shouldn't a brand new car ready for release done with buffing and all the prep... Why advise to come back? What a hassle.
